This blog was a site created for the family and friends of The Cheapist. The Cheapist is a Civil Engineering graduate of the University of Illinois and lives in the ‘burbs of Chicago, Illinois. He is not actually as stingy or bitter as the posts on this website would make him out to be (he is actually 10 times worse). While not blogging he can be found volunteering with his local prairie conservation group and speaking at his local chapter of Toastmasters.
